Scotsman Guide Releases Top Originators 2010 Rankings
FRISCO, TX (April 7, 2011) – Dallas‐based residential mortgage originator PrimeLending, a PlainsCapital Company, congratulates Angela Deaton for ranking as a Scotsman Guide 2010 Top Originator. Deaton was ranked in an impressive four categories: #107 in Top Dollar Volume (Top 200), #25 in Top Purchase Volume (Top 25), #3 in Top USDA Volume (Top 25) and #88 in Most Loans Closed (Top 150).
Scotsman Guide, the leading resource for mortgage originators, released its second annual Top Originators rankings on April 1. The list, which ranks the nation's top mortgage brokers, originators and bankers, appears in Scotsman Guide's April 2011 residential edition, with additional rankings online at scotsmanguide.com.
Deaton was ranked among entries from nearly 700 mortgage professionals across the country. To be eligible for initial consideration in Scotsman Guide’s Top Originators rankings, originators must have had at least $30 million in loan volume or 100 closed home loans for the 2010 calendar year. Only loans and volume that originators closed personally could be considered. After receiving submissions, Scotsman Guide required written verification of top entrants’ volume from a certified public accountant, the chief financial officer at the originator's company or a similar source.
